Bobcat T-300
The Best of the Best. Up until just 5 years ago, landscape contractors
performing large lawn installation or property filling/regarding
needed to use up to 3 machines on the job (a track loader or backhoe
to move the bulk of the material; a bulldozer to spread the material
and grade; and a landscape tractor to prep topsoil for seed). The
T-300 performs all of these jobs quickly and cost-effectively. The
machine can also be used in the most difficult conditions such as mud,
steep grades, and rough terrain. We also use our bobcat track loader
to unload and install large specimen trees that would otherwise
require special equipment to set in place, especially if the planting
location was difficult to reach. |
Bobcat 331 Mini-Excavator
Our Bobcat 331 Mini-excavator with thumb grapple is the Shining Star of
our fleet. It has allowed us to accomplish many more tasks than we could
have if we used a rubber tire backhoe. It travels over grass and soft
ground in a much neater fashion. With a trenching bucket we are able to
handle all kinds of drainage work, and with the grapple we are able to
efficiently sort through material as well as load trucks and dumpsters.
It also allows us to use attachments such as augers, breakers, and
compactors. In the near future a bigger brother will join this machine. |

Bobcat T-200
The smaller of our two compact track loaders, these machines have
revolutionized the landscape industry and only a handful of
contractors in our area use them. These machines travel light on the
ground doing minimal damage and are completely safe to travel over
septic systems. Unlike most other machines, they have the ability to
grade, move material, prep topsoil for seeding, clear brush and trees,
and traverse slope. We invested in this equipment to provide you with
the best possible results and cost savings. |
Easy Lawn Hydro-seeder
We are entering our fifth season as hydro-seeding contractors. Our
results have been great. The benefits of this process are as follows:
(1) Erosion control, (2) Quicker seed germination, (3) Even application
of seed, (4) Makes raking off hay unnecessary, and (5) Less water
necessary at initiation. It is important to remember that hydro-seeded
lawns require just as much care and maintenance as a
conventionally-seeded lawn. Another big advantage of hydro-seeding is
cost savings to the homeowner or builder. We only use the highest
quality grass seed and mulches from Lesco Corporation. This ensures the
best possible lawn and less likelihood of seed contamination. We have
the ability to do small jobs that require careful "cutting in"
as well as large multi-acre projects that can be shot with a large
volume nozzle up to 100' from the end of the hose. |

Soil Preparation Equipment
Our landscape rake is used to prep topsoil for seed. When used on
screened topsoil it levels and fluffs the topsoil better than if it is
raked by hand. When we are using it on unscreened topsoil it removes
the rocks and roots and deposits them in a bucket that can be dumped
into a truck or somewhere else on the property. |
Thomas Protough 300
This is not a piece of equipment we use everyday; however, it makes all
the difference in the world when we do use it. Very few landscape
contractors have a small topsoil screener such as this. We typically use
this equipment on client jobs that have piles of material of good enough
quality to be used as fill or topsoil but have too many rocks and roots
to be machined properly. Sometimes the material is left after an
addition or other excavation on the property. Other times a lawn is just
in bad shape or the topsoil was not screened at the outset. Screening
the soil you already have can spare you the cost of purchasing new
topsoil. We also screen material for builders or other contractors who
do not have the room for larger screening operations. We have multiple
screen sizes. |

Brush Grapple and Implamax
With these attachments used on our T-200 or T-300 we are able to clear
land of brush and trees at an efficient pace. We make good time with
light to medium growth, however, we usually team up with a reputable
tree service when the trees are big. With this equipment (sometimes we
also use the excavator with grapple) we can quickly and economically
clean up most properties that have been neglected or overgrown for
many years. We can also be effective in yard expansion projects where
we would subsequently level and/or install grass. We also subcontract
our equipment to tree services, golf courses, municipalities, and
universities. |
Mini-Payloader
Like our screener, the Payloader is a support piece of equipment and is
primarily used on bigger projects where we must move large amounts of
material such as mulch, plants, and gravel over paved surfaces. It is
also great for unloading trees from flat bed trucks as well as snow
removal in the winter. |
